Snare Drummer taught by Hugh Quigley in Yalesville during the '70's. Awkward times growing up. It was wonderful to be in such a talented group and to go to many places-parades, musters, Old Guard, trips and of course competitions. Thanks to Eleanor Borek, Hugh Quigely, and the Warner's for found memories and a great place to be. Will always be a Yalesville Drummer in my heart.

I was a member of the junior corps in the late 50's - '63. Emile was our leader, Ann Nagy the majorette. Loved going to the parades and competitions. No corps in Maine but wish there were! Hi to all my fellow fifers from the good old days.

I don't know why I woke up thinking about my time with Yalesville Jr. Fife & Drum back in the 60's, but I wanted to send a thank you to Eleanor and the Corp for taking me and my twin on. I spent several years under Eleanor's watchful eye (I had polio and wore a leg brace) and I am very grateful for the experiences the Corp gave me.

I found your site totally at random but was thrilled. In the early 70s I played in the Northern Virginia Patriots Fife and Drums, and played many of the same selections. Hell On The Wabash really took me back.

You all are wonderful. Thanks for the memories!

What fun at the muster yesterday at Old Sturbridge Village! I heard several people commenting on that "distinctive Yalesville sound", and complimenting us on our performance. Good to have some former members adding their skills to the group. Hearing the announcer mention that we were instructed by the "legendary Eleanor Borek and Hugh Quigley" gave me goosebumps! I'm so glad to have been a part of Yalesville's history, and look forward to more adventures in the future. YAY Yalesville!!!

Congratulations! How wonderful to find that not only are you still going, but going strong! The music sounds great and I hope you add in more of the songs. Brought me right back to my time in Junior corp. (I still keep my fife close at hand.)

I am so glad that I have finally gotten the Yalesville Senior Corp on my computer. With the help of Kathy Addy (i don't know her married name} I was able to get the web site. Both my husband and I listened to the music and watched the corps marching. It certainly brought back many wonderful memories of years past. I will now keep up on the news of the corps. Keep it up. Regards to all. The Lanzonis

Great sound, perfect marching, I'm impressed.
I saw you in the Cheshire 2008 Memorial Day Parade, and you were superb.

Love your bass drummer. He's the best! He's been drumming longer than I've been alive (and I'll be 38 this year).
